but i do agree the aliens have some styles, so im voteing for them for the theme ^_^

I voted forum colours, I don't have XP, but I'm sure you can make a very stylish looking theme using the black and orange <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

What are your OSs? Since some of us don't have XP you should make one for every OS <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> (I have Win98) .

Skinning for other OS's, we will see, XP will come first.

skinning for other OS's is a pain, you need to use something like windows blinds or something to customise the menus and stuff (unless you mean just a background and a few text and background colour changes, you can do that yourself easily =D)

i think most of the windows have "themes" so just replacing parts of those themes with alien/marine stuff shouldn't be hard. ive got 98, and i dont use a theme but i could.

what im saying is that those windows 98 themes are just different colours of the borders and different fonts for menus, different sound and different backgrounds.

whilst an XP them can change shapes of menues, do transparencies, proper curves, etc.
