Halflife Movie Making
Well, I am trying to do a music video of NS footage for my video production class. Here is some stuff I need help with.
1. I know the command to record everything thats going on your screen is start/ or recorddemmo, but it crashes halflife every time I use it. I need a new way of finding out how this works.
2. Is there any programs that can convert the .dem files into .avi or .mpeg, or .wmv
The reason for this is I need to put it into windows movie maker, export all the footage to a camera, then import it to a school video editing mac (which I do know how to do) so I can edit it there.
I need help here, please, this is worth like....80 points and I want to be done with it. (due at end of the year)

I'm trying to read through it now, and I sort of understand what it's doing. Hopefully it'll make more sense to you. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
mod's. It's failry easy but time consuming and eats up
a fair bit of hard-drive space (which you can get back easily).
When I attempted a quick Natural-Selection movie, I noticed
that ALOT of things didn't show up, Hive Sigh, Waypoints,
even some Alien attacks were missing. So I decided to wait
until 1.1 (which has HLTV support) before goin back to it.
I used <a href='http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~csmovies/videomach1.php' target='_blank'>this site</a> for my first video.
But I have no idea why your game keeps crashing when you try to record.
Try searching your pc for every .dem file and deleting them. It sounds
dumb but it's worked for me in the past.
