I mean most HL players are ignorant idiots who play CS and god forbid if they ever played anything else.
Just look at Desert crisis...Outstanding mod but hardly anybody plays it.

of course people will play it, i can think of at least a couple of hundred people who will play it when it comes out.

And not all CS players are ignorant idiots, I play alot of CS, well played , and I don't consider myself as an ignorant idiot, nor any other person that knows me (they think I'm an idiot, but not an ignorant one <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> ), the problem CS has is ot's community , it's a great mod (never wondered why so many people play it?), it's such a great mod it has a very big community ,sadly a community mostly consistent of people under 18, I'm not saying all people under 18 are idiots, but these people like to fight, I've been in alot of clans where I was the oldest, and everytime my clan started to look for trouble with other clans, that's one of the reasons I stopped playing CS, my clan was the only reason I continued to play it, but anyway I'm sure once NS is released and it gets popular that those "ignorant idiots" will play NS, and that a big part of the CS community will move to NS, but Flayra,monsE and our forum moderators are really doing a good job with the comunity, and the irc channel is really fun, I'm sure the team will do everything in their power to keep the community as it is now.
Then I felt it time to take a break from CS, played S&I for a bit, Rocket Crowbar with a few old clan mates, recreational TFC. Then I got an email inviting me to join another CS clan. Apparently they had been watching me beforehand, almost stalking, and I felt honoured to be invited. Clans like this have a reputation for being argumentative and always looking to win one over the opponents, but thankfully again I found myself in a clan where everyone got along fine and having fun was put above winning.
Only on a few publics did I ever see people acting immaturely, and once in a clan match, where they accused us of cheating and all left. But we had a 4v4 match between ourselves and we got the points, so we didnt lose out.
The only people that lose from being whiney annoying immature little brats are them. Do not trouble yourself over the immaturity of others.
Its an ok mod, and no one plays it because it wasnt even compatible for a while, plus the developing team arn't the most mature people around (look what they named the newbs if you ever have a chance), and the community was weak all around before and after release.
