Also in comment about how the game is decided with in the first few minutes, I believe that is true.
I was talking a few weeks ago with some people in pub servers, (some clanners, some just regular players) and I proposed that RTs cost half as much (11 RPs), and have half as much health, for BOTH sides. This will allow for rapid expansion, but at the same time, faster destruction of expansions. If a team just got attacked heavily and survived it, they can run it back faster by being able to destroy enemies RTs faster, AND be able to put their own back up just as fast. The players agreed that it would atleast be worth a shot.
I believe that this would put a damper on the JP/HMG rush, because people would be attacking the RTs and taking them down faster and not having the RTs "live" as long, but at the same time, would force a more aggressive game by the marines becaus ethe gorge could essentially cap the nodes it needs twice as fast, what do you all think ?

Throughout your "having fun" you guys missed the basic aspects that are part of betatesting. So while you guys had fun, ns had a release with 1.0 that through 1.04 now is very bad in terms of what it could have been. Sometimes you have to take one for the team and get more detailed with your job, and do it right.

Bit of faulty logic there... I mean the point of playing a game is to win. So next time I go play something like baseball, I'm going to purposely miss the ball.
The truth is that the game is so one-track minded at this point, you're guaranteed a loss if you don't follow the basic strategies out there. (rushing, jp/hmg)

Swedish, Danish and Norwegian I can understand without any problems whatsoever. I also speak enough German to understand it, though my spelling/grammar is not very good, hence I type in English (they understand what I'm saying). Dutch is a bit harder of course, but with my limited knowledge in German, I can figure that one out (combine with key-words, such as locations, and there really is no problem). Finish is a bit harder, but I know enough to know what people are calling me when trying to insult, and enough to understand vital messages. I also speak a bit of French, though those servers usually have a higher ping (150+) and rarely speak English, so I try to stay away from those. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Well its a well known fact that the Brits didn't put up with any of this "Alternate Language" nonsense when they had the world in their fist. The point of a game is to win, but don't you want to have fun doing it? In baseball missing the ball isn'y fun, not in my experiance anyway. Noone is shooting themselves in the foot to try a different strategy, especially if it is more fun. Just because they're not guarantied a win doesn't make it invalid, just different.

Some strats suck, some strats dont. As of now we still feel that carapace is still the best option followed by adrenaline (D chamber first, Movement Chamber second).
And since JP/HMG is fast and a lot of leagues are using timed halves as a scoring method, obviously that would be the favored strat, and just because a strat is original does not mean it is effective.

The basics were not missed. The game is exceptionally well-balanced and low-bug for such a complex first undertaking. Certainly more so than many game syou have paid a lot of money for. Before Flay sees all this and gets ticked at the lousy attitudes, this is being locked.
Go learn to program and design like the NS team has. Then make a game and give it away to thousands of uninformed people like yourself, and see if you like this ridiculous insulting attitude. Jeez, this sort of imbecilic jibber-jabber subjectiveness really gets my goat.
