lights.rad
Is the eclipse lights.rad downloadable from somewhere? What i really want to know is if the monitor and panel overlay textures emit white light, or colored light?
Well ns_eclipses almost uses almost nothing but 1 texture for it's lights (Apart from a few spots) Just give it a nice orange like 255 125 50 200 and you're set.

The little blue glows you see coming off computer panels are not from textured lighting, but point lights placed about 64 units away from the face of the panel. Give it a light blue color and an intensity of about 60-80, depending on how much you want it to affect the surroundings.
BlackPanther, I beg to differ on your simplistic view. I used a number of textured lights throughout the map, the orange one giving most of the primary lighting, then a large number of blue/white and red taking the role of accenting texture lights. The bluish/white texture light has been the workhorse of my lighting in levels since... well, the very beginning. Various panels give off blue and greens from point lights, as I mentioned about the monitor and the panel textures mentioned in the first post.
oh ya... sorry i didn't think of it at the time. A lot of it comes the skylights... and the triad... om.. how could i have forgotten that killzone..
And the monitors ya.. but i didn't think they emited light. It though it was just a light entity.... or were those just for the computer panels like in the outside of eclipse command?
