Upgrades Useless ?

<div class="IPBDescription">Just been thinking</div> Ya know people say the old D, M ,S is concrete and youd never change it i suppose its due the the fact theres never really any need for the other upgrades, How many times would you see a fade with silence and cloak, sadly one upgrade for marines destroys that totally, I was thinking to myself why do i never use silence, probably because they **** marines know where you are 95% of the time anyway and the ability to sneak up on em without making a noise really isnt much use.

When it comes down to it i only ever seem to use three upgrades, Cara , Adren , Cloak (as if its needed), Ive only ever used one other upgrade the advanced hivesight and that was for lerking on missilecommand <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->) the first time its been useful to me.

Anyone else ever noticed this or am i just being slow and repeating :-D

yes we know a sensory upgrade is pure crap. but special hivsight is pretty good. especially at dark maps. actually i like the hivesight upgrade it lets you see those campers who always type something like 'H4H4 1 0WNZ0R U'.
i suggest that hivesight is the best sensory upgrade. silence is better not evolved. iT will give you prollie as they can see you before they can hear you. they should change that MT and give it a MIN/max range.

Motion Tracking is good enoguh and not too good either.. don't nerf it...

Marines already have a disadvantage of being really slow and having no idea that theri buildings are under attack (if comm doesn't tell them)... The motion tracking just allows them to see where the aliens are and where they're going... Parasiting is even more effective than this... So don't complain...

You need silence/cloaking when you're camping a doorway... But only for a long time... You can't let marines watch you move into place...

Some of the alien upgrades will be changed or replaced in 1.1 to make any upgrade order viable and all nearly equally useful. Please do a search before posting (using the search function at the bottom of each forum); this has been beaten to death.
