Please, need help
I finished animating the Command Console but the idle animation won't play ingame. It works in Half-Life Model Viewer but ingame it only shows the first frame and then stops. The original idle animation for the cc was only one frame and i think this might be the problem. Of the two new idle animations one is 200 frames and the other is 30. Please can anyone help me? I really don't want to scratch both animations, they took me along time

I had to alter it slightly (I changed the fps on an animation), but it was the same originally.
It seems to be ignoring the loop command. I checked if it plays one of the other animations, that doesn't seem to be the case. I overwrote all the sequences to be the same thing, and it still cuts off. I even made them all loop. I guess it's just hardcoded to stop after one sequence no matter which sequence is being played.
I really can't check if it's the submodel that's causing the problem. Or maybe I can....
Give me a sec. Time to make the CC a TF.
Edit:
I could be totally wrong in thinking it's the submodel causing your grief. It could be that I just rewrote the whole qc file to make the tf compile.
I'm just using this as an excuse to get away from my assembly language assignment for a couple minutes. I really don't think I can take on the whole project.
I don't think it's a lot of work to fix it up. Just merge the chair, the marine model, and the skeleton, and reassign all the vertices. I'm not sure if the marine_ref has the skeleton inside it. Oh, and then rewrite the qc file.
I'm going to eat my orange now.
to bad.... was looking forward to the blipping comm.
anyway.. keep up the good work
