My one question to playtesters and devs alike..

Does it feel like your playing half-life
I want to know whether this mod makes it seem almost as your playing a different game.. Or is it still undoubtedly recognized as Half-Life. This is the only thing i'm curious about. Other than that question, this mod impresses me more than any mod, for any game has before. Please give me your input.
Thanks

Well im no Tester but the game is very different from Halflife. Think aliens vs predator then add in the nice commander mode, ability to build and aliens can evolve to the next level after a certain amount of kills (?)The marines must work together to win but aliens are the more deathmatch style team.Hope that helped you a little Make sure you read the FAQ's or Moleculor will sick bob on you

Unless you are deliberately looking for it, you never feel as though you are in a Half-Life game while playing. It just honestly has a totally different feel to it. At least for me.

Personally I really like the feel of the halflife engine as oposed to other engines. (i really dont like the engine used for tribes 2) Thats probably just cause ive spent so much time on the halflife engine. So i really dont see how it could be a bad feeling if it felt like halflife. But I bet once we play we wont even be thinking whether it feels like halflife or not.

The biggest difference I've ever felt between HL and other games is the acceleration/deceleration when you start or stop moving. It definitely requires a few minutes of adjustment.

No, the game doesn't feel like HL. The HUD, the speed, the control sensitivity, the extremely different ways of movement, the completely different visuals... it all adds up to a unique atmosphere and feeling.
