copy medarmory_mm_i586.so to
/chroot/hlds/usr/local/hlds/ns/addons/metamod/dlls
edit addons/metamod/plugins.ini
Add the line:
linux addons/metamod/dlls/medarmory_mm_i586.so

To fix that problem no matter what, set medarmory_advonly to 1 and volia, it would take 60 res a pop and forever to make such walls <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Make an option so if the people want health, they have to use the armory with their knives out. So, if you want health that bad from the armory, you better know that it's safe unless you want to die.
After running a poll on my forums about this and receiving a resounding "NO," I ignored my playerbase and tried this last night on one of my servers.
I was thinking along the lines of receiving a medpack every tick; not even close. This is actually quite good. The default is 2 health per second with the advanced armory being 4 (if I was reading it right as I was playing).
Most of the forum responses I had said things along the lines of "people will Grenade spam from within the health range" or "you will see armories spread about the server." Now granted the Fades tend to do this anyways on the alien side, the health rate is slow enough that you cant use it as a tactical weapon. Its strictly strategic. You need to wait quite some time to be healed fully from a single bite by a skulk.
I did remove it, but strictly because I had only installed it on 1 server and I like all 4 of mine to be identical. I will probably be reinstalling when I get a chance.
I've updated the plugin to v1.01.
- Fixed: Armories must be FULLY built before they will heal
- Changed: Armories now only glow when someone is in healing range
