<div class="IPBDescription">Yay for Google :)</div> Anyhow, I stumbled upon a late beta of Bast while searching Google for Relic25. Below, are the major differences. I only wonder how gameplay would be affected <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
BTW: Refinery hive used to have sparks flying out of that lava thingie, looked really cool!

yep. If only processing was on ns_bast
I think he means Atmospheric Processing o_O
lol, second question about it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> Took 10 seconds to make from an .mpeg <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
The second node was added in atmosphere because that area of the map was never used.
Would that be "particle generation on impact?" that you're talking about? Because I remember Relic saying that the sparks became smoke when they hit surfaces.
yeah and isnt an alien rt way too high? woudnt it go tru the bridge above the water?
we'll see anyway <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
That wasn't there as it says further up somewhere. That resnode in the water was later moved to it's current position in the corner.
so they aren't all that new heh <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Having a node in water obviously is a problem then. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

oh and I think the rt could be placed as aliens... It's just that the model looks so big, the hitbox is just normal structure size... That's why you can hide in it
Right <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Just my $0.02
In case any admins wanna run the map and see how it plays (it requires you move the models in the ns/models/ns_bast directory into the ns/models directory) the download is here: <a href='http://home.ec.rr.com/relic25/ns_bast4-02.zip' target='_blank'>http://home.ec.rr.com/relic25/ns_bast4-02.zip</a>
damn, that would have been cool
and yes, google is your friend!

but you knew that <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Call it "atmos" like everyone else. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
