<div class="IPBDescription">dont know if this has been mentioned</div> i was playing last nite, i forget which server, but the marines were "exploiting" the stuck command to build their base OUTSIDE of the map ns_hera. now is there a way to fix this?

yah we've already heard about people exploiting the stuck plug-in to get through walls to places they were not meant to go. i think it is because the stuck plug-in pushes you in a random direction. maybe they could code it so it pushes you in the same direction of the place you previously came from. they should make the game record your previous position if you are moving and then when you use the stuck thing it should push you in the direction of that previous position.

Precisely. In fact, the only way to assure one can get out of a sticky-stuck situation is to do random movement. So, instead of trying to change the stuck meta-mod code to make it work in a more restricted fashion, Hera and other maps which allow it must be refined (I'm expecting this to happen in 1.1).
P.S. I havent played Hera for over a month, and I play nearly 2 hours a day! Thats mainly because my main servers, the Voogru ones, dont play Hera because they think its horrendously weighted towards marines.

Also its pretty lame Voogru thinks hera is too overpowered for marines becuz it is not, only dumb aliens let the marines get processing, while processing is really easy to defend (u just need to know the spots, if u dont, then dont come replying that its bs what im saying).
Except processing u could even say it is overpowered for the aliens...
So pretty lame admins there on voogru... I played a few times on voogru but everytime they were playing ns_trane2, why do the admins find that map so great?

From waht i've seen with fades on the glass in Siege, it seems that it pushes you toward the direction of least resistance.. I.E. if you are 3/4th of the way through a wall, it will push you through it.
How can that be? I've abused <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> the /stuck command to get through the closed off area to the second res node near freight in ns_caged as gorge. If what you say is right, I would always be pushed in any direction <b>but</b> the door, since a door places more resistance than empty space.
