These forums are now re-opened. Please keep in mind what lead it to be closed, and let that control your posting habits. No attacks, no nastiness, as little generalization as possible, and try to argue with logic and data rather than just simple emotion, as all you do otherwise is irritate people here that cannot argue back with your heart heart, only your brain.
There will be a much more strict enforcement of these rules now, as well as monitoring of threads taken off-topic, which will be steered back on topic via the delete post function if necessary. I add the further rule that if you do not bother to read other people's posts in a thread (and either mention it, or it's perfectly obvious to a mod), your post will be deleted. Be respectful of other posts, or we will see no need to be respectful of yours.
Also, posts considered too inflamatory will be deleted as well. That is a judgement call of the mods, and is done because at the heart of this forum is a game called Natural Selection, and anything posted in these forums that damages Natural Selection or its community, or just generally leads to unrest, is unwelcome. Remember that you are guests in these forums, and should behave respectfully to everyone here.

The locked threads were closed because of the way people discussed in them, <i>not</i> because of the topic or the opinions expressed. If you feel that some of them haven't been discussed to an end yet, open new threads, but keep it civilized. Whatever that means.
