I joined this game on Voogru, of course it was ns_nothing because its the only map that causes empty slots on voorgu most times.
Joined Marines (only free slot) and spawned in Cargo seeing a full Base around me, nice I thought...

Hmmm, something is missing here I thoght....
I asked global: "what happened to the CC in cargo, we must have had one there once."
Serveral aliens answered: "It tasted good, - a little metahlic - with a dense of leather."
Me: "oh man, too bad I didnt see this."

Act 1: Introduction - Another rush, first meeting fades, less optimism.
Act 2: Mass suicide.
Act 3: Alternative path rush. Killed a Fade and a Gorge. Almost reached both hives (but not alife).
Act 4: The defense, funny discussions about what to do (with all the res). Killed a Gorge and an Egg.
Act 5: Seeing the base getting owned.
The 2 ppl hiding at the end really hide a loong time till we had 1400 res.
Aliens would never have found them (too stupid) and our chance was to wait till all aliens leafe the game.
One alien gone spectator and "retry" to kill him as lerk <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

There are a LOT of famous last stands with NO hive on alien Side AND no CC on Marine side!
Anyone got a link of that clanfight that Ended with 2 jpers hunting 2 lerks near some d chambers (no hives no cc).
Can be don the easiest way by marines loosing CC and killing hives with HA/JP welder. (other way around is more difficult <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> ).

This was 2nd round of the NSAi tournement(<a href='http://nsa.wideloader.com' target='_blank'>NS Archives</a>)
It was a very close match, I wont tell you who won but it was by 2 mins sudden death(neither team had spawns at the end of the 2nd side)
In the end, the guy stuck and the fade being unable to hit em cracked me up.

Killed the CC, JP/HMG/Welder killed our hives... but we still had about 4 living players, sitting amongst the D-Chambers, and two of us had regen so we could go hunt the last two marines. And we won!
Marines lock 2 hives. Comm spams theses hives with turrets and links them together with phases as usual. CC gets chomped by sneaky skulks. Marines still have welders and 1 or 2 HMGs , perhaps even GL , but no jetpack or HA remaining. Aliens have half the level's nodes (couldn't keep the ones near the marine strongholds)
How would the game evolve ? Would gorge/lerk rushes own the marines , or would them successfully destroy the last hive even without comm ?

The aliens would win...eventually. That is, if they have adequate defenses up at the hive at the start of this no-CC scenario.
