<div class="IPBDescription">Omgomogomgomg fun</div>Oh my you guys simply MUST try this.
Get together on the nstr2 with some of your buddy and play one of the following games developed specifically for nstr use.
1. Dodge-the-turret - Currently steve and my favourtie. Get the map ns_eclipse by KFS and build some sentries, then have some aliens run around dodging them for as long as they can/ Award points for the alien that gets the closest to the turret.
2. Welder tag - Have two marines, and the rest aliens. The Marines run around and chase the aliens with their welders. It's really quite challenging, because the bobs are so agile. If a marine kills a bob with the welder, he scores a point. Bobs are not allowed to camp on the cieling.
3. Slup tag - Same as #2, but the aliens chase the marines and slurp them to death. This game works on the honour system because if you as a marine get slurped you must type "kill" in console. Sorry guys.
Anyways, that's what me, Steve, RBY, Hellocke, Boz and Ebnar just spent a good half an hour doing. I tell you, it's great fun.

bind mouse2 "impulse 107"
then right click and he pounces
As a bob, if you press T (binded to impulse 107 by default) in midair, you will fly. FLY!! I was able to get past the turrets this way, but I snagged on the ceiling. If you press it enough, it acts like a teleport.. I went from the Hive room in eclipse to the Triad in under a second one time.
I must say that us NS fans are a creative (read:desperate) bunch.
oh hi there flayra
Just grab the "Natural Selection Technology Release" off of the ns.org downloads page.
I already have the release, the problem is getting those to play with
One Person runs around as an Alien, trying to hide, anywhere but a non-accessable by marine place,
Then everyone else, who is a marine, trys to find him and tag him <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->
You guys are sick! Anyway, that sounds great.
But, where can I get a map? (dumb question I know, but where to get a map if nearly no map is done already?)
Sono : Some (eventually all I hope) maps can be downloaded from <a href="http://www.planethalflife.com/nsworld/Main.ASP" target="_blank">NS World</a> (click the disk icon)
I guess I was one of the lucky ones that KFS handed it out to when he was feeling particularily nice one day. There is a spot to download it from but I don't have it with me at the moment, nor could I find it if I looked for it. I guess you'll have to ask him whenever he returns.
The last alien to be found is the marine next round, and if you are found hiding in a vent, you get kicked by the console. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

Hmmmm chrome I dont see a disk icon, lol. Is there any other place?
You don't want to see that map. Consider a lack of ns_bast.wad as some kind of unintentional protection on my part keeping the rest of the world from ever viewing that map again. (why am I still letting people download it? aughh)
(Sorry for the Creed remark)
But greedo is right. Runaround does suck. Except for the readyroom, which I think is pretty cool.
you can find it on Badmofo's site.
