Well, I was wondering.
A hack of the current LMG model, for commanders.
(for the reason of fitting it inside the command chair.)

No stock, or mabey a flip open stock. Insted of the side clip, a clip that goes down. No scope.

I have fooled around with the model, no luck on making it look the way I wanted it. Hep?

    Not a modeller but a suggestion. Simply hack off the stock, no need for folding, take off the scope like you said, take the mag off the side or turn it into a drum mag. Also make the gun stubbier.

    How about, instead of that, making a sort of holster in the comm chair that you can see the comm's rifle in?

    hmmm i think he wants a "PARA" version of the LMG, like soldiers that were dropping from the air in WW2 had "shortened" versions of their guns as well.
    It could be done easily.. just with a bit of hackjob skillz.
