Part-time graphic designer/web developer - at least that's what I've done for the last 5 years. I'm actually in the process of looking for a real job at the moment. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Currently unemployed, but I've got a pretty good chance at a job within the next week or so. Previously an electronics technologist.
While it's not a typical '9-to-5' type of occupation, I do a good bit of freelance work in both web development and microcontroller programming. The freelance work is mainly just to keep paying the bills and to get a little bit more experience.

hehe, so that makes 2 admins/dev/whatever we clasify them as that were/are part of the armed forces (monkey/MonsE)
mmm /me = student however during the summer I am probably going to end up working full time at the "NY Dog Spa and Hotel"
yah you read right, 'Dog Spa' (fuggen stupid name ;D)
basicaly my job is I get payed $7.50 an hr (well I will be getting a raise, so probably 8.50 or something) to sit in a room (big room) with a bunch of dogs (5-15). I have to clean up after em (plastic bags and mops, fun fun fun), make sure they don't kill each other, and read my books ;D
I also was basicaly the laky (you would be surprised at how fun it is to go down to buy office suplys or do data entry when you have been sitting on your arse for 4 hrs ;D)
last summer, I worked at a cardboard box factory. Wasnt bad for a summer job, 10.15hr, 40 hour week. It really wasn't that bad, except for a couple of days we had to make these...
Yes, Girl scout cookie boxes. eight hours straight of stacking girl scout cookie boxes (those exact cardbaord boxes in the picture), off of a press. around 150,000 to 200,000 an order, by the time we were done with them I swear I stacked around a million of those things. This is why I will never ever eat girl scout cookies again!! (actually, I do, but I feel all dirty)

My last job was this summer as a full-time level designer for 4D Rulers software in my hometown of Beatrice, NE. I've spent the time since then in my other occupation, that of a student at the University of Nebraska. Technically my band just became an occupation since we just had our first paying gig on Friday, lol. As far as level design goes, though, I've got a contract deal with 4DR again on an upcoming Activision title for an as-yet-undetermined number of levels. Under NDA on the rest of the details, so I can't go any more in-depth than that.
