Warning: Couldnt Open Valve/halflife.wad

<div class="IPBDescription">valve/halflife.wad and liquids.wad</div> I cannot play on any multiplayer game.
I am not attempting to host or anything.
Every time I attempt to go log on, it gives me the error:

WARNING: couldn't open valve/halflife.wad

or one saying it can't open liquids.wad

What do I do?

Does that file exist? If so, can you give us the full path to it (es: c:\sierra\half-life\valve\halflife.wad)? It sounds as though you lost some of the general HL wad files, or they've been damaged. If this is the case, your only recourse will be to reinstall half-life.
