    First screenie is when your escaping the pirates floating platform ship in space. Same for second.

    Third is when your trying to go and de-toxify the water.

    also note that they have changed the missile display for UK Prime slightly.

    Great game. The SOLE reason I got the 'Cube, though WindMaker is reallly cool.

    SmokeNova: At last a profitable post.
    Yeah, great game. Yes they had increased the difficult level in the European version... but it isent so hard anyway. The only times I have died is when I have fallen into toxid water or the lava. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I played through, about 18-20 hours on the American version. Not that difficult *fighting* wise. The puzzles can be a b!tch as some of those are REALLY well hidden parts.

    The only real difficulty on the boss battles is the Phazon boss battles. You'll see what I mean in about 12 hours of game-play.

    And...not gonna ask what you mean by Profitable post.

    the coolest part of the game is samus's visor (Samus IS a girl btw)

    It is part of the game world and it gets covered in gunk, and gets fogged up. Sometimes you even see the reflection of her face <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    You dont need a damn keyboard and mouse to play MP. You have a joystick to handle the game with, its not so damn hard. You just need to learn and then you can handle the game perfect.

    Took me 18 hours to beat Metroid Prime first time through, and it tooke me a freaking lot longer just trying to get 100% secrets so I could unlock the galleries and stuff...haven't done it yet though, I gave up after a while... to me the hardest boss would have to be ... hmmm... probably the huge phason-whacked uber elite trooper guy (yeah, the that one). Spookiest part is probably when the lights go off in the places where there are metroids, such as the Phendrana Drifts (I think that's the name of the Ice place)...first time I saw the metroids in the holding tanks and the power went off, I was like "OH CRAP!! LET ME OUTTA HERE!"

    OMG, your tv is uber high res. You got HDTV or something?

    Also those screencaps you have are much, much better looking than my ATI tv wonder, even w/ s-video. Help me to make my Metroid Prime sexy looking too!!!12

    Actually, that looks like it might be the VGA adapter for the gamecube, on a standard monitor. I've gotta remember to pick one of those up so I can play out in my room, and see decently.

    Any of the Phazon boss battles are **** to fight because they don't take damage unless you hit the PRECISE spot. The uber-Elite took me 3 tries, Thantos (The rock guy ripped from Galaxy Quest) took 3, Metroid Prime took 5 (**** freaking Fusion Metroid spawns). Ridley took me 2 times.

    The coolest effect gun is the Plasma cannon. You can knock a jetpack-pirate out of the sky with a full charge and he'll burn up mid-air

    Ice is pretty cool too.

    Loke, wait till you get the X-ray/Thermal visor. They kick ****.

    I think so, Its a Sony 20# something like that... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I have a regular Capture Card, its good but sometimes the pictures get... blurry, really dont know why (but very rarely thank god).
    Sorry, I'm not an expert in the case... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Thermal visor you get in the Phendra (sp?) Drifts. It's located inside the Hydra base I think.

    X-ray you don't get till about 15hours or so, but boy does it work! Can't remember where, but I think it's near the Hall of Elders.

    Most game makers wouldn't bother to actually show the characters hand inside the armor when in X-ray. I saw that Samus still has 5 fingers, each one still with joints and articulation.
