I'm in the middle of making a .wad of various dark textures and new lights. I'll release when available (sometime within the week). I'm riffing off some of the ns.wad files, so you might end up seeing bits and pieces of ns textures in there (except for things like logos).

There aren't nearly enough textures in ns.wad, which means mappers who want some variety have to dip into valve.wad, which loses some of the atmosphere of NS. Most importantly, it would be nice to have more NS-specific wall textures which then also have three levels of infested versions - right now I believe there are only two wall textures which have infested versions, which means hive rooms that want to look infested end up all looking alike texture wise.
Variety is the spice of life... go, texturers, go! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

No need to apologise, hope the textures are of use to you. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Just make sure not to use textures that are map specific, like the eclipse logo.
Example:

...and all the mappers said, "Yayyyyyyy!"
