<div class="IPBDescription">Need I say more?</div> Yeah. Australia just recently started stocking the re-release of Transformers Gen1 toys.

So far Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Starscream and Hot Rod (Now called Rodimus Major. Name change due to the fact they lost the trademark. gg hasbro)

So as the huge nerd I am after Uni I went down to Toy's R Us with my friend and had a look at them. So I say "Yeah, I'm gonna get those soon" and my mate replies "I owe you 15 bucks in Petrol money for last week and 15 for this week. So I'll buy Hot Rod for you." That basically made my day right there.

So I take Hot Rod home, and I am on Cloud 9 because this brand new version kills my old Hot Rod (Stickers falling off, missing gun) I feel like I'm bloody 6 years old again!

A few hours later, mum calls me out to the Kitchen. "Suprise" and merely places Optimus Prime on the table.

I know have Optimus Prime AND Hot Rod sitting on my desk. I am the luckiest kid on my block!!!!
*sticks trading card into his bike wheel and rides off down to Jimmy's house to play*

damn I hope they release them in the states. Back when transformers were around I was about 4 and tore the hell outta them because I couldn't transform them half the time or I was bored.

I have the optimus with the detachable trailer/base and then you could make him into a huge optimus prime! Its in my room, I also have some of the little cassete tape ones, and an original bumblebee.

Same here. I sold the vast majority of my Transformers a few years ago, but I kept the big plastic Optimus with the detachable base.

They released Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Hot Rod and Starscream. That's all.

And they are EXACTELY the same as the original toys.
