<div class="IPBDescription">what are your thought regarding this map</div> i have played this map yesterday and today, and i think its a pretty good map..
hehehe this is a fun map, the weldable res rooms are great and the water for gorgy swiming is good
but i think the aliens have to many res nodes, they can get to 3 hives incredibly fast. And once the skulks can start xenocid halfway down the fall and expolde as soon as they hit the marines are dead for sure
heh the map wasnt even supposed to be released, it was just a test map. I put it on the ninja server for cinderous to test cuz he is a n00b and didn't know he could just make a LAN game.
Twice as an alien I got into a rez area just before it was closed, and being a Fade in there is actually a lot of fun. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
It's the only "fun" map that isn't heavily biased toward the marines, since the aliens actually have a shot at defending against the JP rush. Unlike, say, castlewars, siege, or missilecommand. I enjoy it immensely.
I think it fun, it whould't be good for clan games, too uneven i think. I was a <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pudgy.gif'><!--endemo--> on that map and we had tons of extra res so i droped tons of OC's and they built before they hit the ground and it was't a good time for the marines. But Marine coms tend to build like spazs on that map, i mean come on put the armory IN the res room so you can reload without having a skulk or lerk spike crack you in the head. I also once built a base in the res room and sealed it off and used the "phase gate past wall" trick to have a untouchable base after some other guy thought my rain of OC's the last game was funny and tryed to use it on its master! lol
The best tactic on that map is that you'll want sensory first. Drop down and cloak in the res rooms. When they weld it up kill the res, go gorge and build res for yourself. Marines are then screwed. Oh and make sure to get people in BOTH res rooms before you reveal yourself because if they see what you did in one res room they won't risk it to weld the other.

marines can weld close their restower rooms, wich is absolutely worthless because aliens dont care for them. Marines could try to have a nice last stand behind that weld-**** door, but blabber rushes will kill them!
