Hmm well I don't belive in god. Personally if hes real, I don't nececarily hate him, I hate all the crap they make up about him, what with being wrong in sexual preference and such. I think its kinda gross...but I dont think its totally wrong.

well, i have thought about the floating idle animation, but there is a cheating issue here.
this is the issue brought up by jamil in the discussion of mutalisk animation.
think about it, when u want the drone to float above the ground when it's idle, it has to make some sort of body movement to let it stay 'floating", but it will be a lot easier to see when it's cloaked, since it has movement. so i animated the way as it is. No floating idle animation.
btw, there is no take off or land animation in NS for now, not even for lerk. it's just not implemented in the game.
PS. my computer failed yesterday, and until now i still haven't found the cause, it just simply won't boot up. i'm currently using my roommate's computer to browse the forum, so all of my work is being delayed. therougeknight's zergling animation is half way through btw.

Regarding the drone idle animation: all of the aliens *do* animate slightly, and it's not enough to give them away while cloaked. I would suggest a very slight flutter of the wings, working of the mandibles & claws. Nothing major, just enough to keep it from looking dead in-game.
True but the regular models already animate more than a single pixels so I think it would be fine. He's already got the dance moves going on with his head and arms so I think a little wing undulation shouldn't be a problem.
I'm having trouble shooting this thing. It's awsome, with the sounds and all, but I think it should be thicker.
