a). When you join a server and spawn, you get this feeling after few minutes that your team is actually playing as a team. Fire coverage, protecting, giving information and all the usual stuff. That feels great!. - bad example: 1. a skulk sees lonely marine going to hive, but "ignores" him and doesnt tell anyone;). And when that single marines empties his clip at hive, everyone is like "AAARGH! HIVE! save it", everyone (maybe) rushes there..happens almost everyday.
b). The good days, when you just are playing your best game ever.. everyone knows how good this feels.
c) and pretty much everything that has been said in previous replies..
same here, I <3 NS team work

My favorite part is when the commanders give us suddenly HMG/GL + jp, gives us a wp to a hive and says:"Stick together and have fun". Then I pres my "Make my day, aliens."-bind
And of course, we have lvl3 armour and lvl3 weapons
IMO learning what different commanders do on the same maps is pretty cool for me. Cause, I do like to command sometimes, and I'm pretty good and moving around the CC, as in getting stuff to marines ASAP, and knowing how to command in general, BUT, I'm crap when it comes to putting that all to use on a map, basically, don't know the best places to control, the best places to let the kharra keep, and watching different commanders do freaky crap on some maps that wins for us, is just awesome. I love seeing some commander do something that nearly gets him ejected when in actuality it just won us the game before it started.

my favourite moment had to be near the beginning of the game.m i was in the hive (ramboed) and one i got in, they ALL stood there. i saw that the gorg was putting up a dc, so they were waiting for carapace. once it went up, ALL the skulks/gorg went for cara/redemption and i shot 1 gorg, 3 eggs and all the rest knifed
My favourite experiences have all been scary ones (marines of course),.
On ns_caged, we'd relocated to Sewer. As I spawned I was given orders to go to our start and try to save the Res Tower, 1 or 2 skulks, no problem I thought. 1 guy came with me and we were ambushed as we neared the entrance, we each took a few down but the last one got him so I was on my own. The comm told me to check out the Generator hive to see if it was clear.
I went through those double doors that open slowly and neared that narrow corridor just as Motion tracking went up, it was very clear generator was NOT clear straight away. I stayed at the end of the corridor watching a blip get closer. My plan was to pistol him quick and then run before they got their act together. No such luck. I shot him a couple of times before he jumped off the side again. A few seconds later a Lerk suddenly flew towards me at amazing speed, spike shooting as it went. I dodged right just as it neared me and started biting, he landed just behind me as I switched to my LMG and emptied a full clip into him before he got off the ground.
I turned round to notice a good number of blips appraoching me quickly. They obviously thought I was gonna jp rush or somethin as that was almost their entire team. Running seemed like a good idea. By the time I was at the double doors I could already hear them around the corner. I ran straight past the first door and quickly pressed the button for the second.
I crouched waiting for the door to close, 50 rounds in my LMG. They all seemed to appear at once and I began firing randomly to try and hold them back as the door closed. I emptied the full clip (in short bursts) and as the door closed just enough for them not be able to get through I turned and ran. I was past the marine start before I heard the door opening again. I hopped over the bar and turned right to head to base, straight across the bridge and hid behind the res node. I saw them all jump down and head into red pipe. I told the team to be ready for them.
I quietly climbed down the ladder and waited at the end of the pipe. I suddenly heard 2 hmg's firing but only a few kills appeared on my hud, I opened fire as the skulks quickly tried to get in the vent at the end of the pipe.
Got em all.
That experience even beats running around a res tower with a fade, firing clip after clip until he finally goes down.
One really fun thing is when you are at a hive, with a JP HMG, fighting like crazy to hold off the aliens till you siege base gets built, but then all your team m8s die and you have to finish the job. Two minutes later flying around trying to dodge lerk spikes and stay alive(in viaduct) I land to take out a gorge, get webbed, see medpack spam to the right of me, but I cant quite reach it.....
Then I hear this MASSIVE thud as 6 HAs drop down and blast the living daylights out of EVERYTHING in the hive(the meds were for them dropping).
I got saved which was v cool, as I would have been mince due to the OTs and aliens.
It was just so cool, cos it was our one chance to take out the hive, then I thought we were gonners, when suddenly a frickin HA army marches along......
my favorite is on ns_cargo (aka ns_nothing), when the rines run to get cargo, only to be washed over by a wave of about 10 skulks coming from cargo to marine base .... definitley a sh*t your pants moment

NS_bast marines go out in a 9 man team. No aliens anywhere.
Marines: Comm do we have motion tracking? Commander: Yes We go into atmosoheric processing, then to feed water, then to engine room hive (hive is in there), nothing, Comm where all the aliens.
Marines: There are 11 aliens where are they?
Commander: Oh wait, NOW you have Motion tracking oops I messed up.
No one had noticed the lack of a motion tracking upgrade icon in the HUD.
Sudenly huge Blue circles appear EVERYWHERE on ceilings, in corners, (its a big dark room) everywhere. They had remaimed motinless to lay a big trap for us.
General panic and a big massecre ensues, it was like a scene out of ALIENS.
Over Voice chat: *** where it was garbled
Oh ** God, They are everywhere! AHHH. COmm you **** Get out Move! Commander : SORRY!! RUN *** OUT OF MY WAY I think we got maybe 2 or 3 then all the rest of the marine survivors got scattered and hunted down individualy. Needless to say it was a sad day for the Frontiersmen.

when you are the Ha/GL in the group, and the other HA/HMG guys are covering you!
EDIT: forgot:
being scarred out you wits by unseen skulks in a dark and foggy hallway, i sometimes get goosebumps when i am out alone and that happens
