<div class="IPBDescription">pistol script?</div> just today at h20-7 server some guy named "pooper scooper" vote_kicked me coz he thinks im "pistol scripting"... WTH is pistol scripting? an aimbot for pistol maybe? who would be dumb enough to cheat and only put a cheat on the pistol.... sigh.... cant wait til these kids get old enough to get their drivers license....

It is sometimes really difficult to tell if someone is cheating in NS. It's safest to just think that everyone is legitimate. I'd rather play with a cheater than to kick a legitimate player. (seeing as I get better as they get worse if they ARE cheating)

To answer your question:
I belive a pistol script is a script that makes you fire all the bullets in your pistol virtually at the same time.
An exploit of the pistols rate of fire, wich currently isn't defined AFAIK.

While it's not scripting, if you bind your fire key to your mousewheel, you'll expend an entire clip very fast due to the speed that the wheel will send the signal to fire. Do that and if your first shot is on the skulk, pretty much everyone after it will hit the skulk.
Scripting would be writing something like:
bind key "+fire;wait;+fire;wait;+fire;wait;"
as opposed to just
bind mwheeldown "+fire"
Really, all you need is a twitchy finger and you can hit it pretty fast too. Some people I've seen fire faster than the mousewheel trick can do it (rare, but doable).
As for scripting, they're either accusing you of writing a script to fire them all fast, or are just ignorant to the terms of the halflife engine and probably think you did what I just described.

oh.. i think ive heard of that cheat before in CS... for the dual beretta, but the thing is.... I DONT HAVE A MOUSEWHEEL!
