Win2k/ns And Metamod

having massive problems with this, running a hlds, with admin/metamod running. when i am running tfc or cs with hlds (and metamod), i can join on the server from the machine its running with no problems whatsoever. the problem comes when running ns, i can join the server, run around the readyroom with no probs, but the moment i try to join any team, or specatate, hlds crashes with an error "cant write to memory location 0x00000000". runs fine without metamod.

tried three different versions of metamod, win2k is nice and patched, so i have no clue. tried pming some metamod peeps on their forums and largely got no response. any thoughts ?

    So you are playing on the same machine as the HLDS? I would recommend not doing that. Due to the verocity of NS 1.4, keep your HLDS dedicated to 1 machine that is not doing anything.

    Also, make sure that you are running above a 1GHz CPU with about 512MB - 1GB of RAM.

    That would probubly help alot.
