are you running in openGL? if not do so if you hold down RClick and move your mouse around do you look around or not? do you get the pointer? have you ussed toggleeditps? (way for mutting ppl in game) trybinding a button to -popupmenu (or what ever the bind is for the menu, you can find out by typing bind mouse2)
oh, and give us full sys specs and make sure your drivers are up to date (this is all assuming none of those work)
