The 3 lines.
When you type in net_graph 1,2,3 in console , I think its 3 who will see 3 lines. The top multi colored one is your ping/lag connection etc.

Then there is a red/purple line at the bottom and a thrid line in the middle. Does anyone know waht these lines stand for? ANd waht does the MS rate stand for?

Thanks

One of the lines indicates packet loss (red shows this) and ms means milliseconds AKA ping.

1 FPS Counter - Your current frame rate
2 Network Latency - This is your current network latency. Unlike the Ping display on the game scoreboard, this readout does not count rendering & timing latencies into the number
3 - Your downstream bandwidth use
4 - Your upstream bandwidth use
5 - This is an animated graph displaying your ever-changing ping. The higher your ping, the
thicker this graph gets. This also displays your lost packets in red.
6 - Your current server update (incoming) rate.
7 - Your current client update (outgoing) rate.

Informative, but didn't really answer his question.

Everything but MS rate, and I don't know or know anyone who knows that is. BTW; you might want to set your fps_max rate to 100 and use cl_showfps 1

The bottom graph is based on your frame rate.

Oh, and net_graph 2 adds a graph on the top that indicates the "size of packets sent from the server".
