Weird Issue

I used to play TFC all the time then i got to busy with school and such. reinstalled and downloaded NS. Now when i load up any mod and try to join or host a game i have a problem. The loading screen pops up and it joins the server, but when the screen "slides up" it only goes up a little bit then stops. after a long while it displays part of the level and then eventually it is gone. but even during the game it will work for about a second then i have to wait for almost 30 seconds before i can do anything again! it is such a pain. Anyone know what could be the problem?

224 ram
win 98
GeForce4 ti 4400

Downloaded new drivers and that didn't make any difference at all. any help at all would be awsome

hit escape then resume game

hopefuly this is the same bug (hl being buggy I tihnk I get this with all mods)

i can't even get the game to run enough where i can hit escape and resume. i AM seeing a tracker error with trackerUI.dll being invalid. Think that is the problem?

hmm, I don't know much about this but one thing you could do is google for trackerUI.dll or your full error msg, poke around and it might be a well known bug

i had this problem i reinstalled hl 1010 (most recent) and ns nad it works like a charrm:)
in teh hl error log for me it said
waitforsingleenitity (i think) but i dunno aobut yours prolly is a similar problem
but reistallking fixed it so hey

Confused! is that for the display problem? or the trackerUL.dll problem? also how do you get an error log for hl to write?

Well there is no trackerUI.dll problem so it's prolly not that ( ? )
Anyway im pretty sure the newest ver is 1.1.1.0
1.1.1.1 soon...
