<div class="IPBDescription">Howzis?</div><i>Thingius Bobius</i> (or whatever) sees with both it's eyes and its mouth. The eyes are used to distinguish color and shape. This is given to the brain, which then uses pheromones obtained through the mouth from the outside world to produce an image. the result is that bob sees through his mouth, and the ground is always on the bottom even when wall-climbing.

    Like I said in irc, I'm partial to the has-heat-sensing-pits-in-the-roof-of-his-mouth, a la many reptile species, several of which rely on those pits as much or more than on their own vision.

    how about the mouth is where the hivemind organ is. the primitive part of the brain that runs eating, biting and slashing usues the norm eyes and the hivemind uses the hivemind organ to see as it's better in some respects or something. Bob needs the 2 sets because otherwise there'd be a conflict, this is because bob is less advanced than his fellows.

    the question aint whether or not it looks realistic but whether or not people will believe it. with the explanation, it makes it believable for the pessemists (not the word im looking for) who play half life mods.
