<div class="IPBDescription">Damage, rate of fire...</div> Hi all this is my first post <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I just got this game 2 days ago and i really, really love it. My only question is where can i find statistics like rate of fire, damage, etc.? I want to know everything. The damage a turret does, it's HP, the rate of fire of a regular machine gun vs an HMG.

I dont play by feel, i play by numbers. When i played starcraft, i knew exactly how many hits it would take for a zealot to kill a zergling upgraded, unupgraded, etc. etc.

Is there anywhere i can go to find this stuff out?

    You can find armor and damage specifics <a href='http://www.geocities.com/kitsune/ns-stats.htm' target='_blank'>here</a>. Hope that helps a little bit.

    You should also check the official manual:

    " I want to know everything. The damage a turret does, it's HP, the rate of fire of a regular machine gun vs an HMG."

    like i said, the information he requires is obsolete in the manual as most of those damage numbers have changed since 1.0 when it was made.

    It aint going to make much difference to you anyway, but you really don't need to play by numbers. I don't remember specific damage figures, but I remember relative damage figures (ie, "I need two melee hits to kill a normal marine" and "melee does the most damage per hit" and "bile bomb does more damage than acid rocket, when used on structures").

    I suppose on the one hand you could do all the math and work out what weapon (or approach, or evolution) is best for what situation. But most of the time it's pretty straightforward. And then, certain calculations are bogged down in a war of arguments about what something's meant to do, what it does do, which figures are out of date and which aren't *cough*carapace*cough*.

    So... most of the figuring out of optimal combinations has already been done, but you're welcome to have more of an investigate yourself <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
