Futuristic Deagle

Im making a futuristic deagle and would like some opinions and/or criticisms on it. I havent added much detail to it so posting it @ other angles would be pointless. Tell me what u think. I also have the images at my website at home.earthlink.net/~ilink21

hm.. if you really want to make a "futuristic DE" than try remodelling the "Lawgiver" from "Judge Dredd".

otherwise.... well... you'll need a good fitting skin for it

looks like a standard Desert Eagle (yes, it is pronounced that way). some suggestions huh? well, to make it look more futuristic, maybe add some small canisters with pipes going to the barrel, and then say its coolingfluid for the barrel. neat? and add some small computer-stuff maybe, like a minimonitor displaying the weapons status (heat temp, shoots fired, bullets left in the clip etc, just for the look). and the clip can be odd too and a insterted in a wierd way. one idea is making a clip with bullets and a small canister on it, and then in some readme or flashy image describe what it is, like "the canister on the clip is a special plasma-pod, which mix with every fired bullet, for more effective damage on alien tissiue".. of course all has to be made up <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I suggest try modelling the deagle from Opposing Force, the HAlf Life expansion. It doesnt look like a regular deagle, but it is very futuristic. Take a look.

I dont think it looks very different and futuristic if you compere with the original deagle.

A couple of days ago I made my own "futuristic" desert eagle as well as a futuristic M-177 and what should be a "futuristic" s.a.s. but turned out as a whole new marine type soldier (whatever)

And Im currently working on the other marine weapons and buildings + aliens and theyr buildings for future modeling.

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! I use the CS deagle sounds for my pistol, but it's such a "boom" sound for such a small weapon. I was thinking about putting in the deagle from CS too but I thought it might look wierd. I'll be checking back!

Regarding censored words, the mods decided that they don't want you saying that particular word. To go around and bypass the filter is just plain rude. My school of thought says what you just did is a bannable offense.

And regarding the Desert Eagle infatuation, it's a .50 cal gun. That makes it special. It also has a cool design, which is why it's featured in so many movies. I think your Ruger is ugly. And so do other people. Which is probably why you won't see it in many movies. Fill in the rest for me.

My point about the E word is that all the pre-teens that we all know are present, the E word isnt something they havnt already heard. And y'all dont even know what Ruger I have, so how can you call it ugly?
