lol.. I can't help but laugh at you. But hey...I don't even know where my mic is. It's either in my monitor somewhere or embedded in my sound card..but I dunno. You're better off than I am, good job McGuyver

I bought mine for 17$. The mic is made out of that bendy stuff lamps have, it folds for easy storage, and the muffly parts of the headphones are only connected on one point ( 360 rotation all the way <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )

yeah... I could use the mic on my laptop's body (next to the power button) but I'd have to shout pretty loud

or you could also use the wax from the "Baby bell" cheeses (yum!), which is usually soft and plyable

Not as bad as me, my mic is on a wire, I have to sellotape it to my face everytime I use it.

My mic is kept in place by a headband. Sadly it's not one of those Japanese study ones either.
