Just to show that that means absolutely nothing, you can pre-order Team Fortress 2 and Duke Nukem Forever. :P

Well if you think about it, the US's goes from smallest to largest also, but with maximums. US goes Month/Day/Year. There are 12 max months, 365 max days (or 31, whichever way you look at it) and 2003 years. -edit- Oh, and HL2... Pre-Order: Ships on 11/14/2003
There's nowhere near me I can pre-order it
I can pre-order Unreal Warfare though. GAME seem to think that'll ship any day now
just to clarify, the way I saw it done in Germany was as follows DD.MM.YY (or DD.MM.YYYY) or MM/DD/YY
please note the difference. I use this method to avoid confusion among friends and family now that I live in the US again. I always date my papers using the Day.Month.Year method. I don't know if that's the accepted way to do it or not, but that's the only way I've seen the system used until recently when some US companies started (imo) mis-using the Day.Month.Year system. I guess they were too 'leet to switch to using periods or decimal points as apposed to slashes. /me shrugs
