features:marine spawn with multiple entrances and elevated comm position, ready room with maps.
a hive room in a detatchable area of the ship(there are multiple weldpoints near one of the hives,onca all have been welded, a button appears in the controll room,when this button is pressed,the doors open and the hive is destroyed instantly)this feature may need a lot of playtesting <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> (thx 2 blackhawk fot the help and ideas)
I'm still having technical difficulties so I appreciate any help(i got the map running a while ago but then the computer crashed <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Once a button is pressed the hive will die?

No, scrap it, I assume the aliens infested in a spaceship, labroom or whatever.
I don't think the people that worked there, people that builed the place (not the mapper roflmao) dind't think the place where you want to put your hives, should have a die button for the hive.

How could they know that it would be invaded in the future?

no, I mean like the hive were in a cargo ship, that can have its pressure tampered with, but that resets itself, if you know what I mean.
so that the hive isnt completely gone, and each weld point takes 30 secs, with 4 weld points one in the roof,one under the floor and two on the sides.

okay....

the dropship docks at an outpost in the **** sector, all seems fine at first,untill one of the engineers goes missing,a few days later a distress call is recieved from the research ststion,and that is where the TSA comes in,the ship is docked in a docking bay,the hive is either in the ship or in the docking bay, there are several welf points INSIDE the hive area,once these have been welded(I may add a timer)the button can be pressed,after this a countdown begins and the whole hive area is wiped out(this may be changed)the pressure is regained after 30(maybe less)seconds

Ok, then again, why would the builders of the spaceship make something like that in the room where a hive would hang in the future, or is it like a timebomb?

look the aliens came in the CARGO SHIP the ship infestationspreads to the CARGO HOLD, from there it spreads across the OUTPOST

Thats an intersting concep, how about making one of the weld points right below the hive, that way it would be obcenely hard to do so...

one point above the hive, one below and one on each side
