<div class="IPBDescription">Desperate for help</div> Hi I am making my first NS map, i tried to make Counterstrike maps but i found them boring. Then i started play Natural-Selection and thought about making a map. So here are the request i would like to have help with, thank you in advance.

How to make a room (my ready room) full lit up, I think i want a sky type of light but i dont know how to get it working,

well right now i am at college so i cant think of all the problems so when i get home i will post a few other problems in here.

    this is a basic mapping info you should know BEFORE making an NS map.

    anyway, here is the info:

    Yeah. Before heading into a ns map, try just some basic rooms and stuff. Open up the editor and create a hall as detailed as you can. A room, just some small things so you can get used to the editor, and comfortable with what it can do. Then take a crack at a ns map.

    I am use to the tools because i made 2 maps for counterstrike but i never got lighting working very nicely

    YOu mean you don't know how to make the sky give off light? Use a light_environment entity.

    just everytime i put a light it was too bright or too dim or it didnt even work.
