<div class="IPBDescription">NS while you sleep?</div> I thought of this topic because I had a dream that I went to the Natural Selection site and saw a new article - 1.1 is RELEASED! I was like, that's weird, I didn't think it was quite ready yet... oh well, sweet! (tendency to believe weird crap that your brain makes up if you're sleeping) But this made me think about how I've played ns in my sleep before and I want to hear all of your wacked-out ns dreams! Like how you were a <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> but then started flying around and shooting the marines with your hmg! Or when you were commander you clicked on a marine and he moved perfectly according to your waypoints like in an RTS. <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> Ok, have fun.

Substance-induced ns delusions are fine too. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> Maybe the marijuana detox server regulars have something to say.

I used to dream NS all the time, even when I'd just doze off in class. I'd usually wake up with a jump when I'd dream that some fade was coming after me with his claws. This would bring strange looks from the other students. My roommate also tells me I used to talk about phase gates and fades in my sleep.

I thought the dreams had mostly passed but apparently not. The other day my roommate told me he had come into the room after I was asleep and I sat straight up in bed, screamed "Fatty in the vent" and dropped back to bed fast asleep.

i see movement circles around where my brain projects someone going around a corner to be if i'm really tired or have been playing ns for too many hours. and i'm sure i've dreamed aboutns before, i just can't think of what it was exactly, i've had so many wierd dreams ending with a jolt back to reality(and class, not unlike the jump as mentioned above by madcap) that i can't separate them from each other anymore...

edit:i must be really tired, the original first sentence made no sense(don't think it makes much more now, but i think you can get teh idea from it :-P)

I don't really have any dream like those, however during class i often dose off wishing i could be at home playing NS, which then turns in to a brief dream of me playing (but maybe im not really sleeping and still daydreaming...the world may never know)

I have dreams myself and my roomate at college thinks I'm the weirdest guy alive. One time, when he was waking me up cause i was sleeptalking, he said that I yelled "OH MY GOD! THEY HAVE ONOS! F4 F4!" then I went back to sleep. When I woke up that day he looked like a marine and I have hive sight and the cafeteria hive said "Theres a marine in front of you, kill him" I was so tired, I decided to attack. I bit his arm twice and I was like "WTH, HA?" He then woke up with a gun pointed to my head and he said it was for "just in case" and I was like "oh crap!" He shot in me in the leg and all of a sudden I was in the cafeteria, redemption I guess. My roomate then woke me up for real and I yelled "HA HA! YOU CAN'T KILL ME! I HAVE REDEMPTION!"

I had a strange dream this morning actually. Its not really about Ns but since today is when the ban on releasing information on HL2 is lifted is why I had a dream like this. Anyways it started out where i was walking towards what looked like an abandoned brick building, there were mud puddles and swampy like trees all around. Anyways the reason I was there was to talk to the guys at Valve or steal a beta of HL2 or something, making the building I was walking towards the Valve headquarters in Seattle, I guess the building was abandoned looking for privacy reasons : <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> Anyways as I came up to the doors, they flew open and 3 people, 2 guys and one female came shuffling out carrying what looked like a missle and on it a sticker read: "Half-Life 2" and the three people were in spy get-up. Anyways they ran past me and took off with the warhead (again Valve privacy/security reasons). Anyways next part I can remember is seeing a treefort in the middle of nowhere were the spy guys apparently put the missle with HL2 in it (dont ask how I knew) so the remainder of the dream is me trying to get the missle from the spies and somehow I gain the ability to fly and I eventually get it and then I woke up <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

the only time i really get to play games is on weekday night before i go to bed. i think i've had a dream about ns once or twice. they say ur dreams is based on what ur thinking about around when u dose off so if u guys play ns at night...or you're really addicted to ns (which i cant really blame you for since it is one of the most innovative and intense games i've ever played...except for the original doom, homeworld, and dod). of course, i'd much rather be thinking about other things before going to bed than going around with an lmg chasing fades with carapace and adrenaline.

I was in bed, asleap, and had been dreaming about a particularly violent game. I drempt that i was a HA HMG attacking the hive, and my mom woke me up, before she did i had just died to a skulk cause i didnt get welded, i woke up and shouted

WTH WHY DIDNT YOU WELD A**HOLE!!!

at my mom....

One night I was wandering around tanith as a marine, and it's completely silent. I looked at my hands and im carrying a knife in my right hand and one of those throwable little babblers from HL in my left. I walked to sat com, threw the babbler to the ground and he ran away from me and morphed into the hive!

The hive spawned hundreds of the little buggers and they proceeded to eat my boots. Im frozen to the ground while these things eat away. For some reason I threw my knife at the hive, which it digested and then chuckled at me!

Then 5 guys fly in with jetpacks armed with flamethrowers and toast the entire room!

lol I dreamed i was a marine for 5 days i a row every night. It was cool becasue I could control waht happened. My roomates who also play NS were in it too. We had a little squad.

even better, it real loking. it didnt look like I was seeing PC game graphics.
