The ONLY thing that bugs me about C-D, is that I have never gotten it to work on my computer. I have 2.8, I go to a 2.8 server, and its not detected, never, not once, EVER. I've asked around, and checked all kinds of things, and found no help on it. So, I just avoid the C-D servers (the required ones) because its basicly just a "you can't play here because C-D is poorly designed and refuses to work on your computer". Only advice I've gotten is to reinstall HL and crap, and frankly, I don't feel like it. Until the fix C-D to work BETTER (meaning, work on my damn computer), I'll just play elsewhere.

personally, i think C-D annoying. i dont mind if servers have it though cause i can just go play somewhere else...
one thing i ask of server admins is if they would at least put "C-D required" or something like that in the name of the server. if youre server is labeled like that now then i want to say thanks, cause i hate waiting for the game to load just to be kicked for not having C-D.
PS- not everybody that doesnt have C-D is a cheater, a lot of us are just lazy haha.

I am looking at two aimbot programs right now. Don't tell me that aimbots don't exist. Also no cheats bypass CD so far, but I am observing a community that is trying to do so, but no success yet. I think this thread has outstayed its welcome.
If you don't like CD, don't play on CD servers. If you're a server op who runs a CD-req server, put it in your server title line. If you're a server op thinking about CD, keep in mind that it may turn many people away from your server.
