Why Can't I See The Map?

<div class="IPBDescription">eh?</div> I downloaded some maps to my ns folder, putting the .bsp in the maps folder. When i go into the game to host i can't see the map... why??

Do you see the default NS or HL maps?

haha i do know a little about what i am doing... but ya, i see all the NS maps, with all the custom maps that i have DL... just not the one....

Make sure that the .bsp is in that maps dir and it didn't create some folder in it.

Also - the map has to have a certain entitity for it to show up in the map list in the game. I think it's an info entity, but I could be wrong (haven't mapped in a year).

Edit: nm, thought he was talking about minimaps(for the marines)...
