    I've seen it happen on our good ol' server down here in South Africa, our server was recently upped from 16 player to 18, prior to this aliens won most of the games. Lately however we can have a game going with 8 on each side, aliens have the upper hand for most part of the round and another player joins the server ( now 9 vs. 8 )...*blamo* , 'rines now get 2 res per tick and the round suddenly swings in their favor. The only time aliens really seem to win recently is when a lone skulk or 2 catch 'rines off guard and single handedly take out 'rine spawn.

    It seems people find the need to post things like this. So I will just say, things are NOT getting "lame" the game is the game, however whatever issues regarding playing/balancing/cheats/bugs will be fixed come 1.1. As usual, please wait until then and don't waste the forums bandwidth by posting stupid stuff.

    lol the servers i play on aliens win bout 80% of the time because some alien always does something awesome that wins it for the team like when the marines have a 2 hive lock down and dont defend their base properly and only rely on mines and then u can just weave thru the mines take the phase down the ip's the commander most likely jumps out about now then if u kill him theyre pretty screwed most of the time or my sneaky trick on hera which i have done many times that always cripples the marines, just get together with about 3 other skulks let them all go first and just run up to the cc start gorgin and hopefully nobody would have heard or saw u because of the skulks fighting down below, make a wol (wall of lame if u didnt know bout 4 oc's and 3 dc's), go skulk and get all the skulks up there to attack the cc with you and the marines wont be able to stop u because when they go up the elevator theyll die straight away cos of the wol and most of the time comm's cant afford backup cc's because of ppl whining for equipment so they're screwed.

    But back then fades and lerks were pretty much unstoppable. Fades were incredibly strong, and umbra might as well have been a brick wall that could move around.

    I bet 1.1 will be aliens dominating at first, then slowly marines getting the hang of it and winning all over again. Much like 1.0 <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    IP rush is the most devastating rush I have seen, half a dozen IPs up outside your hive within the first minute of the game starting and the marines spawning by however many ips they have while the aliens spawn one at a time is very harsh.
