Don't thank me; thank Bathroom Monkey and Def-One for doing such a nice job on the models and animations. They are the shizzle.

Well, maybe not BM. He's more of an idiot savant. Good with 3DSMax, but get him near girls and he just drools and slaps himself with a chicken leg...

Wow, that is really great looking. I can't believe this is the HL engine, man that model and animation look spectacular.

I see nothing akin to loading the first bullet. (I'm sure it'd get killed by the language filter if i used normal term)I'm assuming that this means that the lmg does that automaticlty.

BTW is Monsieur going to get the equipment to include sounds, that'd be cool.

Sgt. X, MonsE was talking about that in IRC, he said that they hadn't added it, he wished it had been in, maybe they will put it in later but it wasn't in that animation. Remember, this is Hearsay, don't really believe me, everything is STC.
But relax, its the future. No need to charge the gun manually!

Not saying it's bad, it's just that playing so much cs i expect another movment after the clip is in place.

Actuly if they don't automate that by the time this is suppose to take place then the militaries will be sad.

sgt x, cs, terrorist, purchase ak, fire a round and reload it, the animation does not chamber the first round

for a lot of the guns the person preforms some action on the gun after reloading\taking the gun out.

I guess he thinks of something like pulling on some kind of lever, like the BAR reloading animation in DoD.

Animation is SWEET, the gun itself is beautiful (love the "smoothed" parts) and the left hand, its movements, gun movements.. no lagging or sudden skipping in animation.. omfg.. *dr00l*.. although, the large right-thumbs looks like that of an lumberjack but then again, makes u believe u are some sort of unstoppable brick-like person

Tell these animators that they have done the sweetest gun sprite/model I have seen so far on the HL engine...period.

10/10 p

(can I see the grenade-launcher now? )

I don't think that the gun needs a lever being pulled or anything like that. The animation looks pretty sweet. It's not too hard to bwlieve that weapons of the future would be powered in some way, and would chamber rounds faster with an electric motor, or something...

i just stared at the hand, and the logo. over. and over. its so pretty. and i dont think we need a coking (misspelled on purpose) for every gun; look at CS.

The weapon does dip down for a second after the magazine is loaded; that may be simulating the chambering of a round. Not really a big deal, and you're right - in the future, maybe they came up with a mechanism to get rid of the need for a charging handle.

Glad you guys like the flick. I'll definitely be purchasing a nice new GF4 in the near future, and I will getting one with AV out connections to plug into the (future Mrs. Evil's) digital camcorder. Then I can capture with audio and sound. I also have a copy of Adobe premier on the way. All that combines for the possibiity of some movie action, likely recorded from playtests and such in a nice montage.

Flay also has connections, so the race is on...
