    cars arent the hardest thing to model at all. They don't move. The thing is the skinning. I'd think that a doom III engine is capable of doing this, so, yes, I think this can be done ingame. (on full settings)

    Seriously, I think those pics are ingame, because if you looks closely at all those pics (not including the real life pics then) you can see some polygon edges, blurry textures, and if those pics were FMV why the hell do they have polygon edges ect? They could do the videos stunning without any graphics problem.

    But that is what I think.

    Come on, the graphics look no better than Project Gotham Racing, which was in my mind, the greatest graphically inclined game for racing.

    also realize that the GT4 pic is scanned, and it looks grainy, which (somehow) makes it look better. The HL2 screens looked so good because they were grainy and reminded us of newspaper pictures instead of video games.

    Umm, so you mean that Half-Life II will look bad when playing it? Hmm… Weird. And when did games look better when scanning them?

    Anyway peoples, these pics are ingame. A guy working on a magazine (gaming magazine) from GamingAge said this: "Funny, those images were not supposed to be distributed until after E3. It says so on the GT4 cd I got on my desk. The shots are all Hi-Res images ment for post-E3 magazine covers. Interestingly enough the cd title isn’t Renders, but Hi'Res images..."
