<div class="IPBDescription">ready room upto now</div> I have dopnt the basic layout of my ready room, i will, once the main map has been completed finish this off.

I cant, wont show you the marine start as thats all i have done in th\e main map and i want to make that as good as i can b4 i take screenshots.

heres the layout, its very basic as i just dont it. But on the piece of paper i am working from its is alot more detailed.

Quite a big change when compared to the official maps:
Double and even triple res nodes abound. Only 1 single res node as a matter of fact.
Two double res node accesible by vents only, one of which can be welded shut entirely.
A hive with only one entrance (room outside top right one) or one room where defence can be build (bottom left one).

All of these aspects will have a large impact on gameplay. Whether you think that is positive or not is up to you.

it appears to me that the double res just south of the mraine base will not get used until the mairnes have got a way through the vent. aliens will not use it as it is too close and marine will not be able to get to it. imo, you may as well just put them in the marine base.

i suggest moving it further away, atleast out of seige range of main base.

im taking it the blue rooms are the hives?

the double res point near the marine start has the vent on the floor.

I might aswell get rid of the triple res as it looks like people arent to happy about it.
