Dude. these people rock
So... There's this computer warehouse that's about 20 minutes from where I live (www.tcwo.com Tampa, FL), and I get 90% of my computer hardware from them. I order Phil's replacement (a $70 CD-R/RW), and when I go to pick it up, they have an "open box" of a faster CD burner than the one I ordered for $40!!!! the sale rep was really cool about swtiching my order, and telling me that all the warranties are still valid. I get home and with the magik of XP's plug N play, I've got a new burner in less than 5 minutes!

a major w00t for www.TCWO.com for saving me $30

I left the 't3h' in there because it's the only word in 'l33t' that I have ever found amusing. =) We have something similar up here, I forget what it's called though. It's not so much a shop as a warehouse of geekware. Very awesome, as computer geeks already know what they are looking for and aren't going to be swayed by flashy signs and sales.

Around here (Palmer, AK) we don't have NOTHING for computer accessories other than games at Wal-mart or something. Nearest place for computer stuff is about 40 miles away

But on the bright side, don't computers run faster when it's cold?

I only live about 7 miles from the nearest hardware/software shop . In Reply to post above: My comp has around 3 or 4 fans total so I don't have to worry about heat.

When I first registered I said "I will probably be the first person in the state of AK to play NS" but someone told me that you were from AK and you're a PT so that shot my dream down And yes, its rare to see more than one Alaskan ANYWHERE on the net.
