    You liar.

    Download
    Front Line Assembly
    Godspeed You Black Emperor
    Skinny Puppy
    Venetian Snares

After listening to those, it is easy to forgive Canada for Celine Dion, whereas I can't find any reason to forgive Kid Rock...

The thing is MonsE, your english pokes just aren't funny. They're clichéd, old and stale, and completely non-relevant. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

<edit> And here's a small list of Canadian bands which I happen to like a lot..

    Moist
    Our Lady Peace
    Strapping Young Lad
    Devin Townsend
    Zimmer's Hole

And I'm sure I know other great Canadian bands...

How dare you calling me a German you evil incarnate! I am not a German, in fact, I was born in Soviet Russia you small-minded, provincial Yankee!
The only Kraut in here is Nem and it will hopefully remain like this.

But don't even bother to make fun of Russia because I am not a Russian either. Now figure it out by yourself!

btw. I joined the forums to reveal my wrath upon MonsE and Jammer!

Ok, I grant you FLA. But Skinny Puppy? Dude, to para-quote the SNL Saturday Night Live castmember Darrell Hammond doing his impression of Sean Connery:

'Schuck it long, schuck it haaahhd, skinneh puppeh!'

Also, Our Lady Peace is too radio friendly. Which usually sums up Canadian music for me (Scinet's list withstanding) - it all just sounds like a Grammy Awards medley...

I would join, but I'd end up in the same situation as I did here: fighting endless hordes of right wing Americans. It just doesn't appeal to me any more I guess. Sure I'd like to duel with Monse again because hey, he's a worthy opponant who uses the mystical archaic forces of "reasonable arguements" and "backing up his opinion with actual facts!". But I know for every Monse there will be 10 Jammers. So I guess Nemesis will have to fight on alone.

Monse, just as soon as I finish compiling my very long list of Canadian nationals comprising a good amount of popular (aka where the money is) American culture (thanks for the few you have listed here, seeing as you are even aware they exist). Yeah, just as soon as I can reach the end of that list, I hope you can see the irony in that. If you ever do manage to get around to cleaning the city soot out of your ears, you might notice that Cultured American (or would that be American Culture, same diff) is an oxymoron, with the exception of inner city gangsta rap. Its too bad good American popular culture seemed to die with Elvis and Budy Holly (speeling <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ), so when are you going to get around to apologizing for the 100% crap that has come out of your music industry since then if you discount all the Canadian, Mexican, United Kingdom, Swedish, and Brazilian artists that have made it in "American Culture". <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I think I'll hop over to see how much better discussions are under a Canadian than an American... <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
