<div class="IPBDescription">you knew it would come back sometime...</div> Next in the series of the NS farm pack I'm creating is this lovely chickenlerk model.... it has a custom skeleton and animations (although I screwed up the attack animations, bleh) and it weighs in at 1036 polies if I'm not mistaken. Next in the series will probably be the cow onos, although I'm not entirely sure... and please don't post suggestions for animals unless it's for the skulk, which I'm still unsure of. I know what I'm doing for the onos and fade already, and I already have a pig gorge which you can find <a href='http://members.rogers.com/roadm/images/piggorg.zip' target='_blank'>here</a> but it has ugly animations... and back legs which I may fix before I do the pack release (among other things). So in short this is version 1, I may release another version at a later point when I do the rest of the models... who knows...

I'm waiting for the mutalisk, and the default is boring and stukabat is too dark, so I'll download this one.

Its a nice model, too. You should try to perfect its animations and stuff... i see potential...
I would definatly go for a fat suspicious rat bCaus:
1: A rat can climb walls - 2: A rat fits well on a farm -
3: Such a fat little rat fits well into the maps out there currently
BtW: <b>Very</b> good work Roadie, but needs some work on the animations...

I SO wish my attack animations would have worked, and yes the umbra animation is cool... if only it worked in game <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> And yes this is the first model I've ever animated, and in some parts it shows... geeze I spent forever on some of those animations...
As for the skulk, my original two ideas were tomcat and bunny. Cats have more climbing ability than most other animals, but I stink at drawing let alone modelling cats, so I'm not sure about that. The Bunny idea seems cute and monty pythonish, but the main problems with it is it would be another VERY white model (the chickenlerk and cowonos have a lot of white, well the cow will when it's done at least) and I dunno if I want that, and also animating a bunny seems hard, they have some funny movement patterns which stretch out the body a lot. I like the rat idea but I'll have to think about how that would work...

I'd love to see a rabbit as a skulk. You know, there are brownish rabbits too, and brownish cows.
#1. Rename the bones on the reference and all animations in order to fit the NS default lerk animations
#2. Let it rest with no attack animations working in game, and if I find a fix that's simpler do it when I have the time

Also my model has no liftoff and landing animations... because I don't think those animations ever run anyway, and they would have been a pain for me to make.
I so wanna see the umbra dance, and the kewl headswing !

Landing and lifting animations are pretty useless anyway, but I soo want the attack animations!

its a strange irrational thoght...
Then ohnos=what? not sure, but think about it... maybe a bulL?
Anyway, dont include farmers for the kharaa team.... that would take away from it.... Then if you wanted to do afull conversion it would be animals vs. farmers.
