it looks very good, you should keep going at it. if you just give it to some one else to mesh it then you wouldn't learn much about meshing. So keep going at it and you'll eventually get there <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> if your ever stuck just ask a pro im sure they will be happy to give you advice

I'd suggest combining all those horizontal pieces and using a skin instead, just to simplify the model a bit. Might give you extra polys to do the spin effect on the dome. Also, take out the "floor" bit between the two main sections - I don't think it's really needed, and might look cooler without it.

One Tip for all people sending a 3DS file... make a black BMP and apply it to all of the model....
this helps me because i can get the file, and start working RIGHT away... i now have to wait until i get Milkshape... because the model has NO UV coordinates at all... (do this for us just in case our milkshape goes Kaput)
if i had a clue how i gladly would.. i simply made it in truespace, trianglulated and exported to .3ds.. you want me to texture map it with a black bmp? dont know if truespaces version of texture mapping would carry over..
