That's wierd. I DLed the "second one" but it was jsut the first part over again. I think someone screwed up. That, or, it was just tacked onto the end. Doubt it though.

EDIT: NO, definately not tacked onto the end. Someone screwed up with the links.

    [edit]
I think they already did fix it, as the filename is different now I think...

The links and filenames were done like that on purpose. People like me used to view the source HTML of the sites, go from URL to URL and eventually find the filename of the movie on one of AOL/Time Warner's servers. Trust me, I tried -- I had the same problem as you, and posted so in the older thread below about the Animatrix soundtrack.

I just watched it. I like it. Though I wish there wasn't stuff left out between the end of Part 1 and the beginning of Part 2... :/

Such as what? The UN teaser comment?

The machine that says "surrender your flesh" was in the US building.

It may be just me, but it seems like the servers for Part 2 are getting hammered -- and that's considering that the links on Slashdot seem to be pointing to Part 1 instead. It's taken me a half dozen tries already just to get past 15% downloaded before the connection reset. I don't even want to think about how bad it'll be when the other time zones start logging in...

After seeing this, I really wish they continued the Matrix storyline specifically told through this form.

    Stupid humans...

That thing made me depressed, at the same time I wanted to tear every last machine apart.
  • ThePhilipsThePhilips Join Date: 2002-09-09 Member: 1302Members
The humans totally nuked their little city into peices and the machines still have a army big enough to defeat the entire world united army. Plus the humans also blacked the sun so they should have a extremly limited power supply.

    It dosen't make sence.

Whoa, major case of the jibblies.

As in very major. Shaky hands, everything.

    However

An amazing piece of film that. Set the scene for the films perfectly. However some of it lies in the way it's been presented. It has one of the things that anime is very good at. A jarring sense of realism. The whole way it was set up felt lots like a military operation and showing the various soldiers turning to religion was a major part that hit home. You began to fell fo the guys (Which made up a little more personal when that guy was cut out of his Mech. (Mind you in that case it's the screams. They were haunting and probably why I have the jibblies)

Now I'm going too play some DoD,NS or something and get this all out my system. Man that was cool and haunting at the same time!

Remember In the matrix when Morpheus tells neo (they were in the construct and sitting in chairs watching tv) about the world as he knows it and how there were only bits and peices of infromation about what happend...but WE scorched the skys. (scorching the skys ment operation:Dark Storm, Dark Storm was to drain out the power of the machines from the sun, their main power source at the time. REMEMBER THE MACHINES HAVE NOT LEFT EARTH YET! So when you see the skys in the original movie as being black and thunderous (possibly the thunder was a way to keep the machines from leaving the planet) and the world dead you know that the humans did it to fight the machines.

Also neo is suppost to feel empathy for the machines. But still whoops on them. And more advanced machines are slowly taking over the older ones and they don't like it.

Remember the writers for this film kept alot of the story secret from the public. But most likely this will be the Star Wars of our time. So you better enjoy the fact your gonna get a fix on the 13 and then in November. If its as good as they think it is...oh christ.

The Matrix has you Krunk.. MUHAHAHA

My guess is that they did this on purpose. Note that this is the Zion version of the war and how Morphous says they don't know who attacked first. That probably why it doesn't tell us. Would be nice to know though......
