I wasn't there, but from what I heard, it was actually a slow time, and the players got bored and decided to mess around, and wondered if a lerk could pick up a marine. And the rest, as they say, is history. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Honestly it is a good server but I am just not one for censorship in a mature game.
Yes, we've banned several thousand people from our servers. But I think in return we have the highest quality games of any pubs anywhere. If you want some great games with some great teamwork, you're welcome to come on over to our pub. Also watch out for Mustard, he likes to pretend to have admin on the CoFR servers, and pings so high he MUST be using primitive aimhacks <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

One day , the comm and a few soldiers went slightly crazy and made fun of noobs who beg for shotguns or HMGs... constantly saying "shotgun" , "beacon" ect on voicecomm... so they actually gave bunches of shotties and started spawning , not one , not two , but dozen IPs at marine start. Thoses were built on each other , but fortunately no one got stuck (just a few telefrags every now and then)
The alien team was very confused of this "strategy" and wisely chose to take the 3 hives while we were charging lerks with knifes and welders...
The spores were pretty useless since we already died all the time , but instantly respawned. So the onos came in and had a hard time taking out all theses IPs... but the comm managed to RELOCATE near port engine , with even more IPs and stuff. After moments of deep confusion , the onos ended that weird match.
Yesterday , after being quite demoralized by the evil JP HMGs that took out refinery as soon as we built a hive , the gorges started spamming OCs and DCs in the water tunnel (they already had dropped the 3 DCs under the feedwater hive , that is , right in water)
I thought it was supposed to take siege blasts , but since they kept vomitting structures and no one took engine or refinery back (we could have won the game , that's for sure) the feedwater hive was killed and they stayed in their submarine bunker , drowning and suffering from the Ping of Death but still not dying. The marines couldn't figure where the heck they could be , until someone of our team revealed the spot (unsufferable traitor...) so they tried sieging it. But the <i>whole</i> tunnel was filled with structures , so marines started diving to kill the gorges by themselves (needless to say they were melted by the OC forest)
I'm not sure wether the gorges F4ed or died from drowning / hive pain , but they stayed here with skulks and lerks for quite long.
