<div class="IPBDescription">burst sprite with v models</div> ok i edited teh original lmg and made the muzzle a little longer, but the burst sprite appears to be too far back, how do i move the burst fire forward? i looked in the 101 topic last night i didnt find it, i was pretty tired and might have by passed it. any help would be grand

    This is a guess, but considering the current things that can't be done with models in Half-Life my assumption is no.

    I think there are two ways:

    (1) By trial and error, edit the muzzle flash line of the .qc file (you'd only need to change whichever number corresponds to the "length" axis)

    (2) By finding the muzzle flash's bone, and assigning the end of the barrel to it. If you don't know which bone that is, chances are it's the bone that was at the front of the gun prior to stretching it. <i>Don't</i> move the bone though.

    Hopefully the second one is correct - it worked for me once, but I'm not sure if it was a fluke or not.
