Marine Tactics.

<div class="IPBDescription">Just for theorycrafting</div> I was just wondering what marine tactics you guys are using.. and if its anything new from what we have used. Also i wanted to see if you guys could try these three strategys and see how they worked out for you since its hard to test them all with 1 scrim a day... or so. *games last along time lol*
1: Relocation + siege/spawn rush, Send marines out/listen for hive and group up next to the hive and build a new relocated base *Somewhere near them so siege would hit if your doing a siege rush* and kill their hive before they have any real time to expand.
2: Marine rush strat rather then gorg hunting, I'm not sure if clans are doing this now but in the cX/eR vs sYn/eve scrim it seemed that alien hives were alot more acceptable to marine rush's then before due to the protection of gorgs. In my mind if we sent more then 2 guys at their hive we would have proabably taken the hive out completely. I guess this strategy would depend on who you are playing and what strats they are using.
3: Turret farming hives/rsr points. I really dont know how effective this will be, With lowered turret cost you could proabably hold down 3 spots and start to upgrade weapons *better turrets* and put mines by the stuff, also getting more rsr nodes. I'm not sure how good it is.. when they start getting lerk/ono/fades but it would be good to just test the strategey. *It would also let us see how the beggening pub match's would play out.. when the commander would try a 2 hive lockdown* just something to think about <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->.
